178mm Airflow Alloy & Stainless Steel Polishing Kit.
We’ve designed this kit for those smaller jobs like your ute bullbar, tool boxes and alloys to brighten them up, remove the fine scratches and generally chase the dull oxidised look away.
For use with a rotary type variable speed polisher, sander machine and drill machine, this kits comes with the airflow polishing wheels and compounds to produce a very high finish to your alloy or non ferrous metal surface.
The advantage of the airflow polishing wheels is the coolness at which they are able to work preventing the metal surface from becoming too hot.
The single section treated airflow wheel used with the 250g Grey Cutting compound for cutting away abrasive sanding marks. (800-1200grit wet/dry)
The single section natural airflow wheel used with the 250g Green Chrome finishing compound for buffing to a high finish.
Included in the kit are 100mm x 2 section colour stitch and white stitch polishing wheels and a goblet, cylinder and dome mop to get into the smaller nooks and crannies.
The kit comes with tapered drill adapter and an M14 angle grinder or polishing machine Spindle Adapter. The adaptor screw onto the existing polisher/grinder spindle. IMPORTANT: Please check the spindle size of your machine before you place your order.
The Vienne Lime removes residue compound from the metal surface during polishing. Dip a microfiber cloth into the power and wipe away the residue.
To finish the job off use the liquid reflection metal polish.
It is a good idea to regularly “freshen” your polishing wheels with a wire brush before applying more compound and continuing during the polishing process.
The better you prepare the surface the better the finish will be.
You can attain an even higher finish by using a calico wheel with this kit.
